Colorado’s Influential and Famous People in History impacted Colorado in so many ways incredible and inspirational ways. Delve into the past with stories and biographies on 10 legends of Colorado history with this incredible and informational NO PREP unit. Receive 10 biographies, each differentiated for two reading levels.
Biographies also come with a summarization activity to help students find and capture the main points. The biographical summarization template sheet allows you to study these 10 famous people in history, but it also allows you to apply this summarization to any biography, so students can write their own biography on anyone they’d like, although a list of 75 people is suggested. This unit ties in well with the Regions of Colorado Unit but is not required.
This lesson meets the 4th grade Colorado state standards.
